Home loans offered include fixed rate, adjustable rate, FHA, VA, USDA mortgages and more. Plus, the mortgage rates for any home mortgage loan can differ widely.
Fixed Rate Home Mortgage Loans
Fixed-rate mortgages give you the security of knowing your monthly principal and interest payment will not change. At First Bank we provide a variety of fixed-rate products, with loan terms ranging up to 30 years.
FHA Home Mortgage Loans
FHA home loans are insured by the Federal Housing Administration. FHA home loans offer many advantages including low down payment requirements, flexible credit, debt and income guidelines. FHA can be used by both First-Time and repeat homebuyers.
VA Home Mortgage Loans
VA home loans allow veterans to purchase a home with no down payment. Saving money for a down payment is probably the biggest obstacle to homeownership. But by waiving the down payment requirement, VA home loans open the door to homeownership for many veterans.
Cash Out Home Mortgage Loans
You can obtain a refinance home mortgage loan to get cash out for a variety of purposes, including education expenses, vacations, other investments, home improvements and more. We offer both first and second lien Home Equity loans.
Adjustable Rate Home Mortgage Loans
An adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) has an interest rate that is fixed for the first several years of the loan (typically 3, 5, 7, or 10 years) then becomes variable for the remainder of the loan. After the initial fixed period, the ARM rate adjusts based on market conditions. Currently we are offering 5 year ARM.
Construction Loans
It is customary when building a new custom home to finance the costs of construction through a bank using a temporary loan in place only while the house is still under construction. These are called "Interim Loans." Banks usually charge an origination fee in addition to other fees. The interest rate they charge may either be fixed or a variable rate based on the Prime Lending Rate. Once the house is finished, you replace the Interim Loan with a “Permanent Loan".
